By now you are probably waking up mid-afternoon after a hard night of having fun! Unfortunately, your hair & skin are probably telling the story of just how much fun you really had! I thought it would be a good idea to give a few simple tips to help you look "fresh enough" to go about your merry way!
First, lets work on that messy mane! Sweat, oil & air pollutants can do a number on your hair weighing it down, making it look flat & greasy. Take a dry shampoo or baby powder & apply it to your roots, be sure to comb through. This will help to absorb sweat, odors & give you some volume. Use your hair tie to pull your hair up/back or even put into a stylish bun.
You probably don't realize it, but your hair most likely smells. So... spray it! Bring along a small bottle (or sample size bottle) of perfume with you. Not only can you use this to "freshen up" your body, but also your hair. Spray 1 to 2 sprays up in the air above your hair & let it fall.
Now, let's focus on your face. The makeup you applied yesterday is still on your face. Don't reapply everything on top of what you already have on. Doing so is time consuming & can make you look like you are wearing a mask. If you can't get to a washcloth & cleanser, have an individually wrapped makeup cleansing towelette handy. Remove your makeup from yesterday before applying anything new.
If cleansing your face is not an option, I recommend having powder foundation handy to reduce shine & oily spots. This will also help to "brighten" your face so you don't look like you only had 2 hours of sleep! A touch of mascara & lip gloss will complete your out-the-door look!
Of course always stay hydrated & drink lots of water. If you don't have access to your toothbrush, be sure to pop a mint or a piece of gum!
Overnight Out Checklist:
baby powder
hair tie
small perfume
makeup remover towelette
powder foundation
mascara
lip gloss
mint
